A fix for the "spam bug" has been developed and tested. Therefore I have decided put the email lottery script back up on the website for sale. I would like to take this time to thank Colin Peters, the programmer who found and fixed the bug. Colin is a truly amazing programmer who created the Affiliate Site Booster (www.affiliatesitebooster.com) and the website for Bouncing Banners (www.bouncingbanners.com), and now is a contributor to the development efforts for the email lottery script.

A note on the "spam bug" in the email lottery script. What happens is when you send email to the players, you end up sending around 50 emails to each player and each email will contain info of other players in the system. The emails also show up in the send to line, opening the risk for further abuse of the info. The "crash team" has reported to me that the bug affects users of the HTML send mail feature. Text should be OK. While a fix is being developed, while I personally do not recommend it, if you must use the script, send email to users by text only. I can't guarantee right now if you will get spam complaints with the above workaround. Use at your own risk.

I have removed the email lottery script from sale for the time being. There was found a serious "spam bug" and it was determined too big a liability to sell right now. All current users of the script should stop using it until a fix is developed. I regret any inconvenience this may cause. I will keep everyone updated on the progress of the fix via announcements on this webpage.
